A home-grown operation
The family that licks together sticks together
Back in 1987, we started The Master's Touch as a little hand-stuffing operation in our living room.
We employed a full-time mom and three children — ages 2, 4, and 10 (no, the 2-year-old didn't help, but the 4-year-old insisted).
Our first job was hand-stuffing a return envelope into a double-window envelope — 25,000 times. For the next seven years, we did stuffing jobs from as few as 5,000 envelopes to as many as 750,000. On the larger jobs, we got help from friends and church acquaintances who wanted a little extra spending money.
In 1999, we moved into our present location, a 36,000 sq. ft. warehouse and office building. We still have family members and friends working with us, but our business has clearly outgrown our living room.
